He works nights as an unusual "driver" for needy Orthodox Jews, bringing them to Bnei Brak's well-off residents. But he does more than drive, coaching his passengers in telling heart-rending stories to loosen the purse strings of the rich. In the mornings, he returns home to his small apartment and his 9-year-old daughter Chani. Her mother has left the family. Since Chani is afraid of being alone every night, her father takes her along to work. Nachman is increasingly overwhelmed by his double life, forcing him to finally face up to himself. (Jörg Taszman)Director Yehonatan Indursky grew up in the ultra-Orthodox Jewish community and lives in Tel Aviv today.
