With ever-moving foothold in both alternative rock and global sounds, Travelling Tribes have made their way into a Copenhagen scene of psychedelia unafraid to make the musical paint box merge altogether.
In 2013 the quartet received a Danish Music Award as best world composer for their debut album ”Everything Seems to Change” released on Danish avant-garde label ILK in 2012.
In November 2014 the quartet will release their follow up album ”Artificial Moonlights”, on which the band keeps evolving their mutual interest in soundscapes from the unknown. Frequencies from tribal percussion, amplified cello, impressionistic guitars and synths coalesce into an organic stew of space and madness.
The members of the group also plays in other bands as diverse as Valby Vokalgruppe and Girls in Airports.
