On June 30, KISD for its series of KISDtalks will welcome Werner Schroller from RheinEnergie AG, Cologne, to give insights into the project of “SmartCity Cologne“. The latter wants to address present and forthcoming challenges in urban development with regard to issues such as innovation, climate change, energy reduction, and e-mobility. The project also strives to foster the dialog between Cologne citizens and the Cologne companies, institutions, and governmental bodies. Werner Schroller studied electrical engineering at GHS Siegen and has worked for GEW-Werke Köln AG, Belkaw GmbH. Since 2008, he is adviser and head of project for RheinEnergie AG and works at the interface of energy, urban development, and sustainability. The KISDtalk will be in English.
