MORZSA RECORDS (HU/USA) is a DIY/bedroom pop act from Budapest using folk and classical instrumentation - accordion, cajon, cello, guitar, and a variety of percussion. With roots in post-punk, dirty-south psychedelia, indie country, and socialist-era Hungarian underground, Morzsa Records has a style both intimate and baroque. Its two song-writers both hail from the Great State of Texas while its other key members come from Hungary and Ukraine. Morzsa Records has been playing for a couple of years in Eastern and Central Europe and the USA. They completed their last album, ’Cosmonaut’ in 2013, while their first, 'Polish Graffiti', was produced by Pleasemachine Releases in 2011 and can currently be found at morzsarecords.bandcamp.com. They are currently composing their next record, set for release in late 2014.
